Yotta’s Cloud Data Center launched in Gujarat’s GIFT City

The Yotta G1 Data Center, which was recently announced at Vibrant Gujarat, is located in Gandhinagar’s GIFT City and is the only data center facility in this prime location to provide collocation as well as the full range of cloud, managed IT, and cyber security services for storing and processing data and applications for a range of use cases, including enterprise applications and AI models.

Modern data center facility “Yotta G1” in GIFT city, Gandhinagar, is ready for service (RFS), according to Yotta Data Services, an end-to-end supplier of digital transformation services.

Yotta’s first presence in Gujarat is marked by the opening of this data center, which also advances the company’s goal of offering digital services in India’s fast-growing regions.

Yotta’s fifth data center location in the nation is called G1. It joins four huge operational data centers, two of which, at Navi Mumbai and Greater Noida are part of hyperscale campuses. In Gandhinagar’s Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT city), Yotta G1 is situated in a special area inside the International Financial Services Center (IFSC) zone.

G1 plans to invest over INR 500 crore in cloud, AI, and non-IT compute infrastructure over a five-year period. The data center has a 2 MW power capacity and can support up to 350 high-density racks. Additional scaling is available dependent on requirement. In order to meet the most demanding digital needs of its customers—who may be located within GIFT City or anywhere in the world—the facility is designed to seamlessly deliver fault-tolerant facility infrastructure, high-performance Cloud compute and storage infrastructure, advanced physical and cyber security, unmatched connectivity, and unwavering sustainability.

Working in the GIFT City IFSC zone, the G1 data center functions as a prospective data embassy for large international enterprises. Because their data is governed by domestic laws and regulations, they are able to maintain control over it even when it is stored in India. By keeping their data in a geographically separate location, multinational organizations can ensure that their activities will continue even in the case of substantial disruptions within their borders. Because of the data center’s location, which ensures compliance with International Financial Services Commission (IFSC) requirements, businesses operating in the zone can take advantage of special advantages such free foreign exchange convertibility, a more liberalized regulatory framework, and business-friendly regulations. It also assists businesses in meeting the standards of the International Financial Services Commission (IFSC), which includes hosting data inside the IFSC zone.

Speaking on the news, Darshan Hiranandani, co-founder and chairman of Yotta Data Services, stated: “The state of Gujarat, together with GIFT City, has been leading the way in offering a practical and long-lasting platform for international companies to establish operations in India. Their strategy for financial services companies is further evidenced by the establishment of the IFSC zone. We are pleased to assist the Gujarati government in achieving this goal by offering a state-of-the-art data center in the IFSC zone that offers the best and newest in cutting-edge technologies to help businesses establish and grow while also adhering to all legal requirements.

According to Sunil Gupta, Co-Founder, MD, and CEO of Yotta Data Services, Yotta’s G1 also marks a significant turning point in the company’s capacity to offer premium data center, Cloud, AI computing, storage, networking, and cybersecurity services to companies in the Gujarat region and around the globe. Our data center will serve as a potential data embassy for foreign companies, enabling them to comply with national rules while offering a stable and secure site for offshore data storage, in addition to offering services to neighborhood businesses in and surrounding GIFT City.

The G1 data center in GIFT City is distinctive in that it offers additional services in addition to colocation. G1 offers a range of crucial features that are consistent with Yotta’s standing as the preferred partner for companies wishing to fully embrace digital transformation, including state-of-the-art data security, custom business solutions, an internal hyperscale cloud offering, AI-GPU compute, state-of-the-art infrastructure, cybersecurity expertise, seamless integration with managed IT services, round-the-clock customer support, cost optimization, and an overall competitive advantage.

This news follows the recent launch of Yotta’s cloud services, Shakti Cloud and Yntraa Cloud. NVIDIA’s top-tier GPUs power India’s largest and fastest AI-HPC supercomputer, Shakti Cloud. It provides cutting-edge platforms, software, and infrastructure for GPU computing, including Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Software as a Service. Conversely, Yntraa Cloud is a fully indigenous hyperscale cloud platform that offers a comprehensive selection of cloud goods and services comparable to those of global cloud platforms.
